Paint me
Colour me true
Give me a title
A burn or a bruise
Hero or villain
sinner or saint
I'll take on the insults,
the worship,
the blame
Whatever you paint me
that's what you'll see
but no matter the words
that's not what I'll be
No halo, no crown
I'm savior to none
No trident no tail,
no forked serpent tongue
But windows don't choose which view they behold
My story is yours, however it's told.
